Happy Thursday! Sorry I’ve been slacking on my outfit posts. I’ve been trying to get back into my normal routine after traveling for the past month. Jason and I had such a great trip to the Cayman Islands. The beaches were beautiful, and since it was the off season it was like we had everything to ourselves. I seriously can’t complain about laying on the beach for a week with a drink and book in my hand. Biographies are usually my go to, and I read the book, “Still Foolin Em'” by Billy Crystal. And I loved it! Sometimes when you read books they’re funny, but they don’t actually make you laugh. Not this book. I literally was laughing out loud. I definitely recommend this book if you a) like Billy Crystal, b) like biographies and c) can relate to being a 65 year old man. Not so much C? Yeah me either, but you should still read it anyway. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also I should mention on my trip that I became quite the iguana enthusiast. A little weird? Yes. But they were so cool, and scattered everywhere around the island. I still can’t believe how big they were. Of course I wikipedia’d (is that a verb?) the blue iguanas and found out they are endangered, and located only on Grand Cayman. Fun fact of the day: the blue iguana can get up to 30 lbs and 5 feet long! Crazy! Now you can say you officially learned something off my blog.
Anyways, I bought a leather skirt today from Nordstrom Rack and thought I’d give a little leather skirt inspiration. Overall mostly grey, black and white paired with some burgundy booties. The scarf reminds me a little of Harry Potter, but I still love it with this outfit. I’m all about cozy sweaters right now. Dallas dropped from 75 to 30 within a day. What the heck? So bring on the sweaters! Xox
